How do points work in Aster Dawn: Stage 4?

Like in previous stages, Aster continues using points as the core rewards mechanism for Stage 4. Points are calculated on a weekly basis, with each “epoch” running from Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC, unless otherwise stated.

What are the points?

Points are Aster Stage 4 airdrop points for trading on Aster Perpetual and Spot (1001x is not included).

Scoring calculation:

Final Points = (Trading points + Position Points + Aster Assets points + Profit and Loss Points) x Team boost + Referral points

Note:

  • Each point category carries its own weightage to ensure balanced rewards. Adjustments may be applied to farmed points to maintain fairness.

  • Weightings are undisclosed.

Points are based on a multi-dimensional scoring model, taking into account factors such as:

Trading Points Score

  • Trade Points are now calculated based on your trading fee contribution, liquidity (maker order) contribution and symbol boost factor.

  • Selected Spot and Perps symbols may boost your trading points.

  • Update hourly.

Position Points Score - Only for Perpetual

  • The larger size and longer time you hold a position, the more points you earn.

  • Points caps are not applied anymore on your trading volume.

  • Updated on a T+1 basis.

Aster Assets Points Score - Only for Perpetual

  • Earn points by using Aster assets such as Aster/asBNB/USDF as margin.

  • Points caps are not applied anymore on your used margin value to hold the positions.

  • Updated on a T+1 basis.

Profit and Loss Points Points Score - Only for Perpetual

  • Hourly net profit and loss (excluding fees such as funding fees) contributes to points.

  • Updated hourly

Team Boost & Referral Points Score

  • Team boosts will accumulate throughout Stage 4 and won’t reset during this period.

  • Team boosts for new members will take effect in a few hours after joining the team

  • Earn a share of your invitees’ based on the total points of your invitees and their invitees.

  • Points earned from first-level invitees are higher than those from second-level invitees. Updated daily.

Referral score example

  • A invites B, C, and D:

  • A earns from B/C/D’s base points (excluding team boosts).

  • If B invites C and C invites D (maximum two levels):

  • A also earns from C’s base.

Base points include trading points score, positions points score, Aster asset holding score, and net PnL score.

Note

While the exact formulas and weightage remain undisclosed, all factors above are calculated weekly to determine points. These points accumulate toward your $ASTER airdrop share at the end of Stage 4.
