Having trouble connecting your wallet?
If you’re running into issues while connecting your wallet through WalletConnect, try the steps below. Most problems can be resolved with reconnecting your wallet.
I receive the error “Given link couldn’t be opened” after tapping on my wallet
Make sure you have the wallet app installed on your phone. WalletConnect uses app deep linking — if no compatible wallet app is installed, nothing will happen.
Fix:
Install a supported wallet and try again
Wallet opens, but there’s no connection prompt
Rarely the wallet opens but doesn’t ask you to approve the connection.
Fix:
Force-close both Aster Mobile and your wallet app
Reopen Aster Mobile and try connecting again
Wallet doesn’t open or switch back to Aster Mobile
Sometimes WalletConnect doesn’t automatically switch between your wallet and Aster Mobile during connection or signature steps.
Fix:
Manually return to Aster Mobile or your wallet to complete the step
Wallet accounts aren’t switching
WalletConnect sessions are tied to the specific account and network you approved. Changing either inside your wallet doesn’t automatically update the session.
Fix:
Disconnect the wallet from Aster Mobile
Reconnect using the desired account and network
