Astherus is now Aster ($AST). Following our merger with APX Finance in late 2024, this new identity is more than just a name change. We’re revolutionizing the way people trade perpetual contracts and utilize assets in the decentralized world.

Industry leaders have recognized Astherus for its powerful yield-generating products, and APX for its robust perpetual trading infrastructure. The protocol consists of 3 modular layers:
dApp Layer - dApps on Aster provide utility for crypto assets and generate APY rewards. Native dApps include AsterEX and AsterEarn.
Defi Infrastructure Layer - This infrastructure module aggregates liquidity from multiple asset pools. It provides the foundation for Aster to expand asset utility — by establishing a stablecoin & yield protocol and building an innovative derivatives clearinghouse. The module will also allow developers to conveniently build DApps on Aster in future.
L1 Chain - AsterLayer will be a Layer-1 blockchain focused on DeFi, supporting multi-assets staking and enabling $BNB as gas fees. More details will be shared in due time.
