# Exchange APX to Aster

If you have $APX tokens in a decentralized wallet, please follow the step-to-step tutorial to exchange $APX tokens to $ASTER tokens.

 First step: Connect your wallet on [Aster token exchange page](https://www.asterdex.com/en/apx-upgrade), sign the confirmation request to complete the process.

Second step: Click the button of deposit, deposit $APX tokens to your Aster Spot account.

Third step: Input the $APX amount and click the button of “exchange” to complete the transaction based on the current exchange ratio. Kindly please note that the exchange ratio will decrease over time.

Last step: After this, you could see $ASTER token balance in your[ Spot account](https://www.asterdex.com/en/spot/CDLUSD1). You can trade the $ASTER tokens on the Spot trading page when trading opens or withdraw the $ASTER tokens to your crypto wallet when withdrawals are live.
