USD1 RWA Boost: Phase 1

Trade and hold positions on designated USD1 RWA perpetual pairs on Aster to earn USD1 and $WLFI rewards. The campaign features two independent reward pools: Trading Points share the USD1 reward pool while Open Interest (OI) Points share the $WLFI reward pool. Rewards are calculated weekly (per epoch) based on your share of total points in each reward pool.

Phase1

The campaign will run from August 31 to December 31, 2026. Each epoch runs for one week, from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, except for the final epoch, which ends on December 31. The total rewards for Phase 1 are 125M $WLFI and 6.25M USD1, distributed equally across all epochs.

What are points?

Points are the scoring units of this campaign, earned by generating trading volume and holding positions on eligible pairs.

Trading Points are earned from eligible Taker Volume on eligible pairs, adjusted by a daily Multiplier based on your OI-to-Volume ratio.

Open Interest (OI) Points are earned based on your open position size on eligible pairs, captured via snapshots every 5 minutes and accrued over time.

Both points are updated daily.

Eligible pairs: SPCX/USD1, CL/USD1, XAU/USD1, SNDK/USD1, SKHYNIX/USD1, MU/USD1, GPRO/USD1 (subject to change — refer to the campaign page for the updated list).

USD1 Requirements

Multi-Asset Mode: To earn Trading Points and OI Points, USD1 must make up more than 50% of your Perpetual account balance during each snapshot. If the ratio is 50% or below, you will not earn any points for that snapshot.

Single-Asset Mode: A position using USD1 as collateral is treated as having a 100% USD1 collateral ratio and is eligible to earn Trading Points and OI Points. Positions using other assets as collateral are not eligible.

Eligibility is assessed using snapshots taken every 5 minutes. If you switch between Multi-Asset Mode and Single-Asset Mode, each snapshot is assessed based on the mode and USD1 collateral ratio at that time.

Note: The USD1 Requirement does not affect how your 24h Average OI or Multiplier is calculated. It only determines whether the Taker Volume in a given 5-minute window counts as Eligible Taker Volume for Trading Points.

Note: Eligibility is determined separately for each subaccount based on its own USD1 balance ratio in its Perpetual Account. Points are accrued independently for each subaccount.

Scoring Model

1. Trading Points

Trading Points are calculated using a daily Multiplier that reflects the ratio of your average open interest to your taker trading volume. This mechanism is designed to reward genuine trading activity and discourage wash trading or volume inflation without corresponding position-holding.

Formula

Trading Points = Eligible Taker Volume × Multiplier (calculated independently per pair)

Multiplier = 0.1 + 0.9 × min(1, 5 × R)²

R = 24h Average OI ÷ 24h Taker Volume

Multiplier & R — Daily Cycle: 00:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC

24h Average OI

  • Your open interest (OI) is snapshotted every 5 minutes — 288 times per day.

  • 24h Average OI = Sum of all 288 OI snapshots ÷ 288

  • Your Multiplier is based on your full-day activity and is not affected by the USD1 Requirement. The USD1 Requirement only determines which Taker Volume is eligible for points.

How Trading Points Accumulate

Your Multiplier is fixed for the day, while Trading Points are calculated in 5-minute intervals:

  • Every 5 minutes, the system checks whether you meet the USD1 Requirement.

  • If yes, Taker Volume during that interval counts as Eligible Taker Volume.

  • If not, Taker Volume during that interval does not earn points.

Example 1

David’s 24h Average OI = $200,000 David’s 24h Taker Volume = $1,000,000

R = 200,000 ÷ 1,000,000 = 0.2 Multiplier = 1.0

Scenario 1: David meets the USD1 Requirement for the full 24 hours

Eligible Taker Volume = $1,000,000 Trading Points = $1,000,000 × 1.0 = 1,000,000

Scenario 2: David meets the USD1 Requirement for only 1 hour, with $50,000 Taker Volume during that hour

Eligible Taker Volume = $50,000 Trading Points = $50,000 × 1.0 = 50,000

Scenario 3: David does not meet the USD1 Requirement at all

Eligible Taker Volume = $0 Trading Points = 0

Example 2

David’s 24h Average OI = $0 David’s 24h Taker Volume = $1,000,000

R = 0 Multiplier = 0.1

Scenario 1: David meets the USD1 Requirement for the full 24 hours

Eligible Taker Volume = $1,000,000 Trading Points = $1,000,000 × 0.1 = 100,000

Scenario 2: David meets the USD1 Requirement for only 1 hour, with $50,000 Taker Volume during that hour

Eligible Taker Volume = $50,000 Trading Points = $50,000 × 0.1 = 5,000

Scenario 3: David does not meet the USD1 Requirement at all

Eligible Taker Volume = $0 Trading Points = 0

2. Open Interest (OI) Points

OI Points are based on your position's notional value and how long you hold it. Snapshots are taken every 5 minutes (12 times per hour, 288 times per day) and summed directly — the longer and larger your position, the more OI Points you accumulate.

Example: David holds a $1,000,000 position continuously (Multi-Asset mode, USD1 balance requirement met):

Method

Per Day (24h)

Per Week (168h)

Per Month (30d)

Snapshots summed

288,000,000 pts

2,016,000,000 pts

8,640,000,000 pts

Partial-hour example: if David closes the position at the 30-minute mark, approximately 6 snapshots are captured → roughly half the hourly points.

3. Single Asset Mode 2× Boost

Holding USD1-pair positions in Single Asset Mode earns 2× OI Points. Snapshots are taken every 5 minutes; the multiplier applied to each snapshot is determined by your account mode at the moment of that snapshot. If you are in Single Asset Mode at the time of a snapshot, that full snapshot interval counts at 2×. The longer you remain in Single Asset Mode, the greater your boost.

Note: Snapshot timing includes a randomised offset and is not disclosed publicly to prevent snapshot gaming.

Reward Allocation and Distribution

For each epoch, rewards are allocated based on each participant’s share of total eligible points in the corresponding reward pool:

Your reward for the epoch = Epoch reward pool × (Your points ÷ Total eligible points for the epoch)

Each epoch runs from Monday 00:00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59 UTC, except for the final epoch, which ends on December 31, 2026 at 23:59:59 UTC.

Reward results may take some time to appear after an epoch ends. Rewards for each epoch will be distributed in the following week. Unclaimed rewards will expire two weeks after they become available for claim.

Rewards are calculated separately for each subaccount and must be claimed from the corresponding subaccount.
