Overview

The Aster VIP Program rewards our highest volume users by offering exclusive benefits and privileges.

VIP status is assessed daily at 23:59 UTC, based on two criteria that must both be met:

• Rolling 14-day trading volume -- spot and perps volume (USD)

• $ASTER holding balance — calculated as a daily average across your accounts

VIP members receive reduced taker fees for both spot and perps trading. Refer to the VIP tier table for specific volume thresholds and fee rates by level.

$ASTER Holding Balance Calculation

Your daily $ASTER balance is the combined average of holdings across your Spot account, Perpetual account and Aster Staking balance.

Total Daily Average ASTER Balance = Daily Average Spot Balance + Daily Average Perpetual Balance

Spot	Sum of hourly balance snapshots ÷ 24
Perpetual	Sum of hourly balance snapshots ÷ 24
Aster Staking	Sum of hourly balance snapshots ÷ 24

Note: Hourly snapshots occur at random times within each hour. Pending orders are included in the balance. Each day runs from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 UTC.
